Condition: Good+. Ex. lib from Endicott Junior College library of Beverly Massachusetts, indicating it was donated to the college by Mr. Carl L. Schrader on inside front cover bookplate. A few of other markings indicating it as ex lib, as well as a blank library check-out list pasted down to the back inside blank flyleaf under another ex lib. stamp, inventory number written on copyright page, and annotation penciled next to binding indicating date of gift as 1955, and name of Mr. Schrader again. Tightly bound, blue cloth boards with upper spine publisher's label. Untrimmed pages on three edges, trimmed gold gilt upper edges. Tissue-faced frontispiece. Other illustrations throughout with same tissue and red text over each. Minor edge bumping, no torn pages, age yellowing of pages, some soiling to covers. A very elegant volume.
