Condition: In poor condition. The cover and page edges are the most worn parts of this vollume.Tan cloth pictorial boards are heavily soiled and indications of moisture staining. The previous owner's (child's) name written on inside front endpaper. Binding split at front cover between title page and beautiul color frontispiece as well as at back cover. Fortunately all pages are stll bound and intact though back portion loosened. Inner pages very yellowed with age and soiling throughout due to student's heavy usage, but no text obliterated. No markings, tears, or holes noted on inner pages. Adorable black and white illustrations.
