SYNOPSIS: Pictorial book used in the 1950s to teach young elementary students about science by trying experiments with everyday household items. The illustrations are brightly colored, adorable, and very reminiscent of 1950's school books.
Special edition published by E. M. Hale and Company by arrangement with William R. Scott, Inc. who published regular edition.
Format: Hardback, red pictorial covers. No dust jacket. Condition: Good. Ex. lib from the Wellsville-Middletown Elementary School, with typical "withdrawn" stampings, remainder of card jacket affixed to inside front cover and library indexing number written on lower outer spine. Binding solid. Pages intact, no tears or markings on inside pages except for very tiny "1661" in pencil written by librarian on first page, which would be easily erased.
