Format: Hardback. No dust jacket. NOT an EX LIB. Only date provided is 1940 copyright; presentation inscription in front cover is dated 1945.

Condition: In acceptable condition. Green boards with red lettering and door cover art. Covers edge bumped and rubbed, inside pages very age-yellowed, binding split at title page opposite frontispiece art (shown in photo) and loosened under spine cover. Endpapers are white drawings on purple paper, front endpaper has inscription to children "from Mother & Daddy" and date "1945" written on opposite endpage. No markings, tears, or missing pages on inner volume. Fragile due to age. Photos illustrate condition of overall volume.
