SYNOPSIS:  463 pages. This book is written by Train as an autobiography of a fictional lawyer. Think Perry Mason. A lot of folk believed Tutt was a real lawyer. Train has written several other Tutt fictions, legal thrillers. From Wikipedia: "Arthur Cheney Train (6 September 1875 – 22 December 1945), also called Arthur Chesney Train, was an American lawyer and writer of legal thrillers, particularly known for his novels of courtroom intrigue and the creation of the fictional lawyer Mr. Ephraim Tutt."

Personal ex lib. (The remainder of a jacket had been removed, cut into the flaps with the $3.50 original retail price still showing, and inserted into the book.Will be included as the flaps provide very interesting information about the book itself, and, of course, Mr. Tutt.)

 VERY GOOD. Owner's nameplate inside front cover dated March 23, 1944, as well as his own small personal library rubber stamp on opposite inside cover. Pages age-yellowed, some tanning of end pages, a damp stain to upper page edges. and inside back cover. Volume is still tightly bound and solid, no missing pages or markings.
