Contains FIFTEEN of the best-loved childrens' stories, each of which is exquisitely illustrated by various artists / illustrators. NOT an EX LIB. A facsimile signature by Shirley Temple on one bland end page. Several sellers describe this volume as "signed" but it is not a "live" signature. Covers GOOD, minor to moderate wear includes soiling and edge corners / bumps and rubbing. Inner pages EXCELLENT. Presentation written in appropriate presentation blank, dated "Summer 1962 on trip to Minn." from a grandmother to her granddaughter, inside front cover. No other markings anywhere, no tears, holes, or other problems. Tightly bound. The illustrations in this volume really are gorgeous!
