Dust jacket POOR, heavy soiling, chipping, possibly holes through it, but still very colorful Unclipped flaps. (see last pic)
319 pages. Doubleday, 1956. Board covers in Acceptable condition, some soiling, bumping, and moisture stains. Page edges soiled, upper page edges are yellow and slightly faded. Name, city (Mtn. View, Missouri), and date "1956" written on inside front cover, and a second name written on opposite blank fly leaf. This jacket appears to be the most worn of the "lot" of 4 vintage novels we have listed, having moisture stains on inside and tears and large chip missing. Fortunately, still intact and still attractive through the signs of age. Age yellowing of pages which remain flat, bright, clear and free of further markings or tears.
