Format: Soft cover. No dust jacket. Only date provided is 1915.

Condition: In Poor condition. The only reason it is being listed is the scarcity and age of the volume. There is no "series" number provided, which means it may have been the first edition printed. This particular volume is found almost exclusively now in "e-book" edition, making this volume a rarity.

It contains over 200 songs, as stated on title page, "which are dear to the hearts of young and old in every nation." The cover is extremely worn, but thankfuly still present. The chipping makes the printing on the cover almost illegible. Sewn binding still intact, but split halfway up the lower edge to reveal the binding stitching and inner page edges. Inner pages are extremely age-yellowed, and edge-chipped. Also noted are creasing, soiling, and loosening of some pages to the extent that some pages are unbound and laid-in. Some annotations noted which are typical with music books, markings above the music staff (in pencil) to assist the musician, but are only occasional. Also, some numbers were written on inside front title page. I did not page through every single page, but since pages are numbered, it would be easy to ascertain if a page might be missing. By a cursory leaf-through, I noticed that pp 159/160 is missing from the correct spot. The index lists that as "Good-Bye, My Lover" (p. 159) and "Wot! Cher" (p. 160). Hopefully they just may be inserted in the wrong spot, but It is not 100% guaranteed that all pages are 100% present. Photos illustrate condition as well as style of musical notes.
