SYNOPSIS: 108 pages, measures 11 X 14. Ray C. Strang cover art entitled "School's Out." Lots of interesting items include a short stories "The Tyler Twins," by Clarence Budington Kelland and "Pie" by Bess Streeter Aldrich, plus SO many great ads for cars, trucks, tractors, 'flapper style' women's clothes, foods and drinks, an indepth article about the electrification of farms and homes in 1930. An article about the Dryden Country Club at Dryden, Michigan, written by Mary Margaret McBride, with some neat black and white pics. A new thing! Too many to include pics of all, but the graphics and colors are gorgeous. Condition: In Acceptable condition. A mail label affixed to front cover. Pretty heavy soiling to covers, especially around edges and back which also is water stained, chipped, and has some chews at the extreme upper left corner. Not deep enough to affect any text. Rest of pages are typically age yellowed, occasional crease, but no rips, holes, or markings noted. The edition does not contain a table of contents or we would have pictured it. Inner pages for the most part remarkable flat, clear, and bright, and the edition is still tightly bound with (rusty) staples.
See Grading Scale page for explanation of grades. Photos of any obvious condition issues will be provided.
