SYNOPSIS: Lot of two (2) vintage items for young piano students. These were purchased in the 1990s and have been in storage since then. Items are described as follows:
1. Old Tunes for Young Players No. 162 - 1936. Part of the "Progressive Series Compositions", this one is No. 162. Contains six tunes, all of which have red ink pen markings on them by the piano teacher. No notes or words obliterated. Beginner level. Published by the Art Publication Society in St. Louis. In Very Good condition, in addition to the red ink markings mentioned, has some blue fountain pen ink blots on the back (small). Measures 8.25" X 9.25"
2. Junior Note Speller - 1949. By L. M. Dodd. 22 Pages. Published by Art Publication Society of St. Louis. No markings or holes. Has the marks by both the teacher and young piano student who worked the exercises. The worst of those markings is pictured, apparently made an error then attempted to erase the ink. In Acceptable condition due to the previously-marked exercises, but a very nice vintage item in complete condition.
