SYNOPSIS: 148 pages, measures 10.5 X 14. Gerald Thompson on cover. Table of Contents pictured, featuring Henry Ford death and back story, Gandhi, Texas-Oklahoma Panhandle tornado with pics of devastation, Tracy-Hepburn Movie ad for "Sea of Grass," Brooklyn Dodgers manager Leo Durocher on his ouster, Princes of India, "Prettiest Co-Eds Selected" with pics of all the female students who were chosen as winners, a long article about cancer and the ongoing (at that time) efforts to research a cure, one page of that article has an approximate 3" horizontal rip, but all still intact. Could be taped. LOTS of great nostalgic ads for vehicles, household products, foods and drinks, tobacco products, and MORE.

Condition: In Good to Very Good condition. An "X" marked on the "F" in the LIFE title on front cover. Moderate soiling and rubbing to covers, edge chipping and crease marks.  Inner pages remarkable flat, clear, and bright, and the edition is still tightly bound with (rusty) staples.
