SOLD - Revolt In the Desert, by T. E. Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia) 1927 First Printing in America

SYNOPSIS:  335 pages plus a fold-out color map at the end. The legendary and enigmatic Lawrence recount his amazing military tale in an understated, matter of fact narrative laced with dry wit: a 26-year-old British archaelogist, rejected as physically unfit for military duty in World War 1, manages to join the British Intelligence Service and become the organizer of an irregular Arab cavalry fighting the Turks. The breadth and variety of his activities and associations, and his ability to describe them vividly in writing, earned him international fame as "Lawrence of Arabia," a title which was used for the 1962 film based on his World War I activities.
