America Remembers Our Best-Loved Customs and Traditions by Samuel Rapport & Patricia Schartle 1956 HBDJ 1st Edition

SYNOPSIS:  669 pages. See pic of jacket flap for synopsis.

Publisher: Hanover House, Garden City, New York. 1956.

Format: Hardback and dust jacket. NOT an EX LIB. First Editiob,

Condition: Jacket in POOR Condition, pretty much in tatters. Unclipped flaps show $3.95 retail. Volume in Good to Very Good condition. Blue cloth boards with black spine cover, and black and white lettering. One pretty good bump to upper spine. Upper page edges in green with a large damp stain (pictured) which did not bleed down into pages, but did bleed down onto back, upper inside cover end page and opposite blank fly leaf. Inner pages soiled, but no markings, tears, or flaws. Tightly bound. This is a fun read. Heavy volulme. Volume itself not scarce, but one WITH a dust jacket IS scarce. That is why we didn't just discard this jacket in spite of condition...
a great reading copy, but would read it without the DJ on. Photos illustrate condition of overall volume.

See Grading Scale page for explanation of grades. Photos of any obvious condition issues will be provided.
