Format: Hardback. No dust jacket. NOT an EX LIB. Stated November, 1938 Reprinting.

Condition: Volume in Poor condition. A child has done damage to several pages by scribbling and rubbing holes in some of the pages. I have tried to include pics of the most egregious of that damage, but not every single occurrence. Fortunately, no text except that shown on the title page hole, was obliterated in spite of his/her determined effort. PLEASE...MAMAS, DON'T LET YOUR BABIES GROW UP TO BE SCRIBBLERS! Orange boards with black lettering. Very soiled overall, binding split at covers with binding mesh showing, but all pages still intact. Pages extremely age-yellowed. Previous owner's name, or possibly the business which originally sold this book (a pharmacy in St. Louis) is rubber-stamped into back inside cover. Only reason it is being listed in this condition is that it is quite scarce in this format, and would still make a good reading copy. Photos illustrate condition of overall volume.
