They were written over a period of five years and cover a variety of overlapping springs, summers, falls, and winters and reflect the many aspects of gardening in New England by popular TV show personality, Thalassa Cruso (1909-1997), who hosted the "Making Things Grow" program, and is fondly remembered as "The Julia Child of Horticulture."

Condition: Very Good+. Ex lib. with only signs thus being two stamps on the same inside blank flyleaf stating "Thomas Mines Math & Science Dept. Florrissant Valley C." No signs of a card jacket or any other markings usually associated with ex libs. Brown cloth hardcover with exquisite gold / orange foil embossing and lettering. Cover has very minor soiling and rubbing wear. Top page edges purple, rest are untrimmed. A very solidly bound, clean, attractive volume.
